Heavy rains have thrown life out of gear in Mumbai and its adjoining districts. During the next 3 days, there will be heavy rains over South Gujarat, Mumbai and the Coastal parts of Karnataka. In Gujarat, South West Madhya Pradesh and South Rajasthan, there is a possibility of water logging at many places due to torrential rains. Light rain in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana. Parts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will remain dry for now.

2 low pressure in the Bay of Bengal will cause torrential rains in many states

First Low-Pressure Area is formed in and around Orissa, which will move westwards giving heavy rains over Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Vidarbha, South Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, Mumbai, Gujarat and East Rajasthan. Another low-pressure area will form in the Bay of Bengal around the 9th, again giving torrential rains over the central parts, which may lead to flood-like situations in many places. In the Gangetic plains like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Delhi, Punjab and Haryana, the rain activities will remain light for the time being.

Heavy rain will occur in many states for the next 10 days

During the next 10 days, many districts of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, North Madhya Maharashtra, South-East Rajasthan and Gujarat, including the western coasts of the country, may receive torrential rains. An increase in rain activities is also possible over North and East India. The effects of heavy rains are visible in many districts of North Andhra Pradesh including Telangana.

From July 5, once again rain will increase in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. There may also be some reduction in rain activities over East and North East India. Heavy rain may continue along the coast of Maharashtra and Karnataka including many districts of Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan and Gujarat.

Monsoon rains will continue, torrential rains in many states

Monsoon reached from Bihar to Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan in two days. Now, during the next two-three days, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Southwest Uttar Pradesh including some areas of West Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan and Gujarat. There will be less rain activity over interior parts of the South Peninsula but heavy rain may occur over the west coast.
