There is no possibility of rain in the plains of North India, although heavy snowfall may start in the mountains from January 8. After the snowfall, once again from January 15, the temperature will fall in central India including North India and cold weather will start. The weather in South India will also remain dry. Scattered rain is possible over the Coastal Andhra Pradesh and the Coastal districts of Tamil Nadu. Winter will also increase in eastern and north-eastern India.
