Meteorological Department alert, now it will rain with severe cold

One western disturbance after another can give heavy snowfall in the mountains. Between January 12 and 13, there is a possibility of rain in North India as well. An anti-cyclonic circulation may abate over Gujarat, but cold conditions will continue over Telangana including Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Marathwada. Odisha including East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal will also experience severe cold.

Half of India in the grip of severe cold, cold will increase further

At present, more than half of India is in the grip of severe cold. There is no possibility of any relief for the next 3 days. There will be snowfall in the mountains between January 8 and January 13. This snowfall will be visible in Jammu Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand including Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan and Muzaffarabad. After January 13, the torture of winter is going to increase once again.

There is no possibility of rain in the plains of North India, although heavy snowfall may start in the mountains from January 8. After the snowfall, once again from January 15, the temperature will fall in central India including North India and cold weather will start. The weather in South India will also remain dry. Scattered rain is possible over the Coastal Andhra Pradesh and the Coastal districts of Tamil Nadu. Winter will also increase in eastern and north-eastern India.

According to the Meteorological Department, the dense fog may remain in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh for the next two days. On the other hand, the cold wave may continue in Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Chandigarh today and tomorrow.
