The government is going to give a 75% subsidy on the project cost to make single women self-employed. This scheme is being started to benefit the women of Chhattisgarh. Explain that this subsidy will be available only on projects ranging from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 2 lakh, and a 25% amount will be given as a loan without a guarantor.
Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister Rekha Arya said on this subject that “In the first year, 500 women will be benefited from this scheme. There are about 1.5 lakh single women in the state. Apart from this, 30 thousand rupees will be given to the workers from the Anganwadi Welfare Fund. The amount will be increased to Rs 50 thousand. Both the proposals will be brought in the next cabinet.” Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister Rekha Arya, in a meeting of departmental officers at the government residence, directed that all procedures should be completed to bring both proposals to the cabinet.
