Take power tiller and rotavator on subsidy up to 70 percent, know the schemes of the government

In different states, the government provides substantial subsidies on expensive agricultural machinery like power tillers and rotavators so that general farmers can also use them. Let us know in today’s article how much subsidy the government is giving on these instruments in states like Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Assam.

First of all, let’s talk about Chhattisgarh, Here farmers can easily use farming equipment through an agricultural mechanization scheme. Under this scheme, the state’s general category farmers and scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and women farmers are also being given huge subsidies of 60 to 70% on the purchase of these agricultural equipment.

Farmers of Tamil Nadu can also buy many modern agricultural implements like power, tiller, seed drills, zero-till and seed fertilizers at tremendous subsidies. The government here is giving a 40% subsidy on power spare to general category farmers and a 60% subsidy to SC and ST farmers.

Farmers in Uttar Pradesh can buy tractors at a subsidy of 30% or up to a maximum of Rs 50,000. Farmers can avail the benefits of this scheme on the purchase of Mahindra, Swaraj and Sonalika tractors.

If we talk about the state of Maharashtra, here too farmers can take advantage of huge discounts under the Farm Mechanization Scheme. Small farmers can buy tractors under this scheme and they can get up to 50% discount on them.

Farmers of Gujarat can also buy agricultural machinery on heavy subsidies. Here, a 25% subsidy is being given to the farmers coming under the general category, while a 35% subsidy is being given to the farmers of the remaining class.

In the state of Assam, the government is running the Mukhyamantri Samagra Gramya Unnayan Yojana. Farmers get good benefits from this scheme. Under this, if farmers buy tractors, they can get a huge discount of up to 70%.
