Many farmers in our country have to face financial crisis due to various reasons. This crisis increases when farmers grow old. Keeping this in mind, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maan-Dhan Yojana is being run. Under this scheme, farmers will be given a pension of Rs 3000 in old age.
Who can apply?
Farmers between 18 to 40 years of age can register under the Prime Minister Kisan Maan Dhan Yojana. If you are 18 years old then you will have to deposit only Rs 55 every month. If your age is 40 years then you will have to pay Rs 200 for this.
Through this scheme, farmers get the benefit of a pension only after crossing the age of 60 years. In this, an amount of Rs 3000 is given to the farmers every month as a pension.
