Get drip sprinkler and rain gun sets at 90 percent subsidy

Get drip sprinkler and rain gun sets at 90 percent subsidy

If you have water then only you can do farming but in our country, most of the farmers use the traditional irrigation method “flood irrigation” in which there is a lot of wastage of water. That’s why the government is working towards increasing the yield of crops by using new irrigation techniques and spending less water. For this, the micro irrigation scheme working under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana being run by the government is proving to be very beneficial for the farmers.

Through this scheme, farmers can avail of bumper subsidies on the purchase of new technology irrigation equipment like Drip, Sprinkler and Raingun. Under this, the Uttar Pradesh government has started a portal so that more and more farmers can take advantage of it. The Horticulture Department of the state is running this portal and along with it, training camps are also being organized for this, in which the farmer brothers can get all the information about it.

Explain that the Government of India gives a subsidy of 45 to 55% on this scheme and on this, the State Government of Uttar Pradesh gives an additional top-up of 20 to 35%. Together, the state’s small and marginal farmers get 90% of the total expenditure on drip, mini/micro sprinklers and other farmers get an 80% subsidy.

Lay irrigation pipelines on 50 percent super subsidy

Lay irrigation pipelines on 50 percent super subsidy

Various schemes are being run by the “Land and Water Management Department” to save the groundwater level from going down to extremely low levels. One of the main schemes is the scheme related to laying underground irrigation pipelines, under which a 50% super subsidy is being given to the farmers.

With the help of this subsidy, farmers in Nawashahar, Punjab, can lay irrigation pipelines in their fields. 50% of the total expenditure on laying the pipeline or Rs 2200 per hectare, whichever is less, will be provided by the government.

Explain that by laying these underground irrigation pipelines, up to 25% of water is saved. Along with this, it also saves labour costs and electricity. It is noteworthy that till now in the year 2023-24, 1880 meter pipeline has been laid in an area of 23 hectares by spending Rs 7 lakh.

Use 75 percent subsidy for innovative irrigation and fertilizer management

Use 75 percent subsidy for innovative irrigation and fertilizer management

The use of modern techniques in farming helps in increasing the income of the farmers and reducing agricultural expenditure. For this reason, the government also gives huge subsidies on new technology farming machines. If we talk about Rajasthan, here too it has been decided to provide grants for the purpose of promoting the use of modern machines among the farmers.

It is noteworthy that Rajasthan CM Mr Ashok Gehlot also announced this in his budget speech this year. Under this announcement, this plan has now been approved. Tell that about 10 thousand farmers of the state will get the benefit of this scheme and the government will spend Rs 21 crore as subsidy on this scheme.

Under the scheme, approval has been given to the proposal of providing a 75% subsidy to the farmers of the state for the use of new-generation technology, auto sensors and fertigation technology. According to this, a subsidy of about Rs 21 crore will be given to the farmers for the use of advanced techniques for the management of nutrient requirements in their fields and accurate information related to water requirements for fruit plants.
