Bumper subsidy of 50 percent on tractors, know what is the government’s plan?

Bumper subsidy of 50 percent on tractors

Many state governments provide subsidy benefits to farmers to buy a new tractor under the tractor subsidy scheme. In different states, tractors are given subsidies according to the rules there. Let us know in which state how much subsidy is available for buying a tractor.

In Madhya Pradesh, farmers get a 20 to 50% subsidy on the purchase of tractors. For this, applications can be made on the official website of Madhya Pradesh https://dbt.mpdage.org/eng_index.aspx. Explain that under this scheme, the subsidy is given only once to the farmer for the tractor. For this, it is necessary that the farmer has not benefited from government assistance under any scheme for the last seven years.

UP Government Under this scheme farmers are given a subsidy by the Horticulture Department on the purchase of agricultural machinery on tractors less than 20 HP, power tillers less than 8 HP and power tillers more than 8 HP. In this, a bonus of up to Rs 75,000 is given to general category farmers and up to Rs 1,00,000 to scheduled category farmers on tractors up to 20 HP.

In Haryana, farmers get a maximum subsidy of 50 per cent on the purchase of tractors. This assistance is given to scheduled farmers. In January 2023, applications are invited from SC farmers in Panipat. Beneficiary farmers were selected from the applications received through a lottery. Here, it has become mandatory for the farmers chosen to deposit Rs 10,000 as a registration fee for the draw fee so that needy farmers can take advantage of it.

In Rajasthan, through the scheme of free tractors and agricultural machinery, farmers are given tractors for very low rent for farming. Under this, tractors and agricultural machinery are provided to farmers for harvesting, threshing and other agricultural activities. So far, more than 10 thousand farmers have applied for free agricultural machinery under this scheme.

Will get subsidy up to Rs 12 lakh, make your cold storage

Apni Mandi / Gramin Bazar Yojana

Due to lack of proper storage, most of the farmers have to bear heavy losses. Many farmers are forced to sell their produce at low prices to avoid this loss. On the other hand, with the help of cold storage, farmers are able to keep their produce safe for a long time. The Government of Bihar has understood this big problem of farmers due to crop failure due to lack of proper storage and has started a wonderful scheme to set up cold storage.

It is noteworthy that at present the number of cold storage in Bihar is very less. Due to this, the storage of fruits and green vegetables is not done properly. Due to this, the farmer has to sell his crop at a very low price. “Apni Mandi / Gramin Bazar Yojana” being started by the Bihar government will be helpful in ending this problem, under which farmers will get good subsidies.

In fact, the Bihar government has fixed a total expenditure of Rs 25 lakh for making storage for storing green vegetables and fruits. In this, subsidy of up to 50% i.e. up to Rs 12.50 lakh will be given by the government.
