Women farmers will get free moth bean seeds, as well as training will be done

Preparations for the Kharif crop are about to begin across the country. Farmer brothers will sow Kharif crops in the fields according to their region and climate. High-quality seeds are essential for good yields. In such a situation, the Rajasthan government has implemented a special scheme to benefit the women farmers of the state.

The state government has decided to provide free moth bean seeds to women farmers so that the production of crops can be increased. Under the ‘Mukhyamantri Krishak Saathi Yojana’, mini kits of certified seeds of moth bean will be given free of cost to small and marginal women farmers of the state.

Under the scheme, priority will be given to scheduled castes and tribes and women farmers living below the poverty line. Apart from this, women who have irrigation facilities available can also take advantage of this scheme. Along with this, farmers will also be trained for farming. The state government has issued instructions to implement the scheme.

Earn crores from sandalwood cultivation, keep these things in mind

Sandalwood is one of the most expensive woods. Due to its aroma and medicinal properties, it is in great demand in the market. You can become rich by cultivating sandalwood. By planting 600 sandalwood trees in one acre, about 30 crores can be earned in 12 years.

Keep these things in mind in sandalwood cultivation

Apart from the entire field, sandalwood trees can also be planted along the side of the field. Its plants can be planted in any month of the year. However, the thing to be kept in mind is that, while planting the plants, their age should be two to two and a half years. Also, the place where they are cultivated should be kept clean.

Full care should be taken that there is no water logging near the sandalwood plants. Let us tell you that sandalwood cultivation does not require much water. This is the reason why sandalwood trees do not grow well in low-lying areas. For this, keep the bund slightly above, so that the accumulation of water does not reach the roots of sandalwood.

Another important thing, sandalwood plants should not be planted alone. For the rapid growth of sandalwood, it is necessary to plant host plants. Host plants should be planted at a distance of 4 to 5 feet from it.

Damage to crops due to high pH in soil

  • The soil in which alkali and salts are found in high quantities. Due to this salt gets deposited on the soil in the form of grayish-white colour.

  • This type of soil is completely infertile, due to which the pH value of the soil is more than 7.5, this type of soil is called alkaline.

  • Due to the excessive use of calcium and magnesium fertilizers in the soil, the pH of the soil becomes high, due to which the availability of fertilizers and nutrients in the soil decreases. As a result, the yield of the crop is reduced.
