Under the announcement, orders have been given to release the pending payment of Diggys and Farm Pounds of the farmer brothers. Let us tell you that the government gives grants for the construction of pucca diggi and plastic lining diggi to get rid of the water crisis for the farmers.

For this, in the financial year 2021-22, the government had presented a budget to make 5 thousand diggies in the state. Under the scheme, grants are given for the construction of diggies with a minimum filling capacity of 4 lakh litres or more. Where farmers are given 75% of its cost or a maximum of Rs 3 lakh as a grant.

However, despite the construction of diggies, there are many farmer brothers who have not received the payment due to the constraints of the SNA account. In such a situation, instructions have been issued by the Agriculture Department to make timely payment of the amount in all the districts of the state, so that farmers can be benefitted by helping them financially.
