Right time of sowing of green gram for high yield

  • Summer green gram can be sown from February to April 10, while in the Kharif season, the month of June-July is suitable for sowing.

  • Due to delay in sowing, high temperature and hot winds adversely affect the flowering and pod stage in the green gram, resulting in low yield.

Government will help the farmers in organic farming

Everywhere in the country, emphasis is being laid on organic farming. In such a situation, all the state governments are encouraging farmers for organic farming at their own level. Meanwhile, the Haryana government has come up with a special scheme to promote organic farming. Under this, the farmers of the state will be given training at the ground level for organic farming.

Haryana Government has started a 3-year incentive program to promote organic farming. Under these programmes, financial assistance will also be given to the farmers for branding, packaging and loss of production in the first 3 years. Apart from this, the government will also prepare 100 clusters. Under this, at least 25 acres of land will be used in each of the clusters. Which farming will be done by the organic method. Along with this, the government has also started preparations for the creation of the Department of Natural Agriculture.

Let us tell you that the increasing use of chemical fertilizers in the agriculture sector is not only deteriorating the health of the people but is also having a bad effect on both the soil and the environment. Several programs are being run across the country to eliminate the use of chemical fertilizers.
