Chhattisgarh budget released from briefcase made of the by-product of cow dung

The Bhupesh Baghel government of Chhattisgarh has created a new history by presenting the budget for 2022-23 in the assembly. This time the briefcase used by Chief Minister Baghel to present the budget was not made of any leather or jute but a by-product of cow dung.

Cow dung is considered a symbol of Goddess Lakshmi in Chhattisgarh. There is always a tradition of smearing homes here at festivals. On the basis of this recognition, the state government has started this initiative by taking forward the Godhan Nyay scheme. The initiative is being praised across the country.

It has been made by the sisters of ‘Ek Pahal’ women’s self-help group working in Gokul Dham Gothan using cow dung and other products. At the same time, it took a full 10 days to make this briefcase. Along with this, the handle and corner of this specially made briefcase were manufactured by Bastar Art Artisans, a group of Kondagaon city.

Government will give huge subsidies on loans up to 3 lakh to the farmers of this state

Many schemes are being run by the central and state governments to help the farmers financially. With the help of this farmers can reduce their agricultural problems. In this sequence, the Rajasthan government has announced to give loans on huge subsidies to the farmers of its state.

The Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan in its budget for 2022-23 has started a scheme to give loans to farmer brothers at low-interest rates. Under this, farmers can get loans up to Rs 3 lakh through Kisan Credit Card. However, the loan will be given for one year at 7% interest, on which a huge subsidy of 4% will be given by the government.

Let us inform you that crop loan up to 1 lakh is already being given without interest on Kisan Credit Card. At the same time, 2.57 lakh new farmers have been added under this scheme last year.

The outbreak of rust disease in wheat and its cure

  • This disease is caused by a fungus called Puccinia recondita tritici which is also known as brown rust, yellow rust or black rust. 

  • The hallmark of this disease is that in the initial stage, the symptoms appear on the upper surface of the leaves, which later become denser and spread over the entire leaf. 

  • The sick leaves dry up quickly, due to which the process of photosynthesis also decreases and the grain becomes lighter. With increasing temperature, the colour of these spots turns black on the lower surface of the leaves.

  • For chemical control of this disease, spray Hexaconazole 5% SC @ 400 ml or Propiconazole 25% EC @ 200 ml or Tebuconazole 25.9% EC @ 200 ml/acre.

  • For biological control, spray Trichoderma viride @ 500 gm /acre or Pseudomonas fluorescens @ 250 gm/acre.
