Farmer Ashish ji Saria of Ujjain district sold his tremendous produce of onion and garlic from Gram Vyapar and he also thanked Gramophone.

Ashish hails from Kachnariya village in Ujjain district and has been associated with Gramophone for the last two years. He made his farming smart in the last two years and got better yields. This time he sold his onion and garlic crop to trusted buyers from Gram Vyapar.

During this, he said, “With the help of the Gramophone app, our farming has become very good and the yield is also increasing. I have also taken 80 quintals/bigha of onion and 27 quintals/bigha of garlic. But even after getting such a high yield, we had to worry a lot about the sale of the produce. We had to travel far to find the right buyer. Sometimes we had to sell the produce at throwaway prices for fear of not getting the right price. On this subject, Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra said during the cabinet meeting, “The Chief Minister Solar Pump Scheme has been approved for the installation of solar pumps for irrigation. The cabinet has decided that where there is no electricity, there is no electricity. The MukhyaMantri Solar Pump Scheme should be implemented immediately by giving priority to solar pumps.

Farmers can apply online to Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited for solar pump installation. Under this subsidy will be given by the Government of India and the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
