A very big decision has been taken by the government regarding the ration card. The government has canceled 43 lakh 90 thousand ration cards from the public distribution system. It is being told that these ration cards were fake and for this reason, they were canceled.
Under the National Food Security Act, the government has taken this big step with the objective that only eligible beneficiaries can get food grains. According to the news, before taking this big step on the ration card, the government kept watching for the last seven years to prevent fraud. The digitization campaign has also helped in stopping this.
