Control of root rot disease in garlic crop

  • This disease occurs due to a sudden drop and rise in temperature. Fungus of root rot disease develops in the ground due to which the garlic bulbs turn black, due to which the plants do not get the necessary nutrients and the plants turn yellow and wither away. 

  • For prevention of these disease use  Carbendazim 12% + Mancozeb 63% WP @ 300 gm/acre or Kasugamycin 5% + Copper Oxychloride 45% WP@ 300 gm/acre or Kitazin 48% EC @ 200 ml/acre . 

  • Biological treatments use Trichoderma Viride@500 gm/acre or Pseudomonas Fluorescens@ 250 gm/acre. 

  • Always sow crops only after soil and seed treatment.
