On the evening and night of April 13, several districts of Rajasthan, including one or two districts of Punjab, Haryana, received rain accompanied by a dust storm. Temperatures dropped in Central India including North India and there was some respite from the heatwave. In the hilly states, rain and hailstorm are possible in some places due to the effect of western disturbances. Heavy rain may occur over Northeast states including Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
