On getting insured under this scheme, along with risk coverage, a benefit of Rs 2 lakh is given to the person in case of accidental death and total disability. With a premium rate of just Rs 20 per year, you can get insurance of Rs 2 lakh on accidental death and permanent disability and Rs 1 lakh on permanent partial disability. You can also increase the premium rate to get more coverage.
It is mandatory for the applicant who wants to apply to this scheme to be between 18 to 70 years of age. Along with this, the applicant should also have his own savings account. To take advantage of this scheme, you have to go to the nearest bank and complete the application process.
