Compensation will be given on the death of cattle, relief will be given in flood or natural disasters

After heavy rains, flood havoc is being seen in many areas. In the event of floods, humans have to migrate, but in such a situation a large number of animals die. This causes a huge loss to the cattle owners. But now the government has started a system under which animal owners will be compensated for animal loss due to natural disasters like floods.

This system has been started by the Bihar government. Actually, every year in Bihar, due to the horror of floods, a large population has to leave their village home, during this time their cattle are killed in large numbers. The state government has started a scheme to help such people. According to the Animal and Fisheries Resources Department of the state, there is a provision for the government to give assistance grants in case of death of cattle of cattle owners during natural disasters and local disasters notified by the state government.

How much grant on which animal?

For dairy animals like cow, buffalo, camel etc., the farmer will get compensation of Rs 37,500 per animal. It is important to note here that assistance grant will be given only on a maximum of 3 animals per family. At the same time, Rs 4,000 will be given per animal on goat, sheep and pig and assistance grant will be given only on a maximum of 30 animals per family.
