Apart from this, he targeted to be planted paddy in 31 lakh hectares, urad in 17.50 lakh hectares, maize in 16 lakh hectares, cotton in 6.50 lakh hectares, Pigeon pea in 4.50 lakh hectares, sesame / ram-til in 4.50 lakh hectares, groundnut in 2.50 lakh hectares, moong in 2 lakh hectares and other pulses in 0.10 lakh hectares.
