The continuous rains in almost all the districts of Madhya Pradesh have caused havoc in the past. Due to this devastation, 11 thousand people have been resuscitated so far and 10 have died. Due to this, crops of about 7 lakh hectares were damaged and relief work is going on. The maximum damage has been done in Hoshangabad, Vidisha, Sehore, Raisen, and Rajgarh districts.

On Monday, the Meteorological Department issued a warning of heavy rain. Warning of heavy rains has been issued in Alirajpur, Barwani, Jhabua. Ratlam, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Dhar may have thunderstorms with strong showers.

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon is expected to remain active till 20 September. Even if there is no rain for 1 day in the month of September, there is no possibility of water shortage in the state this year, although the area of ​​low pressure has reached western Madhya Pradesh and adjoining eastern Rajasthan on Sunday. This system can cause rain in some places in the eastern Rajasthan state.
