Necessary spraying to be done in peas in 8 – 15 days after sowing

  • Pea crop is the main crop grown in October – November. It is used for vegetables in the form of beans in a green state and the dried grains are used for pulses. Pea is a very nutritious vegetable in which proteins, carbohydrates and vitamins are found in sufficient quantities. Apart from this, minerals are also found in sufficient quantities in it.

  • After 8 – 15 days of sowing in peas, the following spraying is necessary for vegetative growth of the crop and protection from insect and fungal diseases –

  • Spray Carbendazim 12 % + Mancozeb 63% @ 300 g + Acetamiprid 20% SP 100 gm + Seaweed Extract @ 400 gm per acre. With this, silicone based stickers / spreaders can also be mixed at the rate of 5 ml per tank.

  • For biological control, use Pseudomonas fluorescens at the rate of 250 grams per acre.
