The heatwave has subsided for the last several days and the temperature remained below normal in many states. For the next few days, the eastern states of India, central India and south India are likely to experience strong winds accompanied by heavy rains and lightning. Light to moderate rain and thundershowers will also occur over Northwest India. Rain may occur at many places in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and West Uttar Pradesh including North and East Rajasthan. The west coast including Gujarat and West Rajasthan will see relatively less rain.
