A New Storm Brewing in the Bay of Bengal; Winter Sets In Across Half of India

A low-pressure area is expected to form soon due to the cyclonic winds in the southeastern Bay of Bengal. This system could intensify into a depression as it moves westward, with a strong likelihood of developing into a sea storm. The storm is expected to head toward Sri Lanka and Tamil Nadu.

Meanwhile, a new western disturbance is approaching the mountains, potentially causing snowfall in higher altitudes. In Delhi, pollution levels have slightly improved but remain in the poor category. The minimum temperatures in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, northern Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh now range between 8°C and 14°C. Additionally, heavy rainfall is predicted for southern Tamil Nadu and southern Kerala.
