- In onion crops, in 40-50 days the crop has to be protected from insects and fungal diseases, as well as nutritional requirements have to be fulfilled.
- Therefore in this stage of onion crop it is necessary to manage the crop in three different forms.
- To protect against fungal diseases: – Use Tebuconazole 10% + Sulfur 65% WG @ 500 gram/acre Metalaxyl 4% + Mancozeb 64% WP @ 600 gram/acre
- Use Pseudomonas fluorescens @ 250 gram/acre as a biological treatment
- To protect against insects : – Spray of Fipronil 40% + Imidacloprid 40% WG @ 40 gram/acre or Thiamethoxam 12.6% + Lambda Cyhalothrin 9.5% ZC @ 80 ml/acre
- Use Beauveria Bassiana @ 250 gram/acre as a biological treatment.
- Nutrition Management: – In this stage of onion nutrition management is done as soil treatment, for this use calcium nitrate @ 10 kg/acre + potash @ 20 kg/acre.
- While spraying onion crops, one thing should be kept in mind that for every product to be absorbed or used by the leaves well, use 5 ml / pump sticker per pump at every spray time.
