In onion crops, in 40-50 days the crop has to be protected from insects and fungal diseases, as well as nutritional requirements have to be fulfilled.
Therefore in this stage of onion crop it is necessary to manage the crop in three different forms.
To protect against fungal diseases: – Use Tebuconazole 10% + Sulfur 65% WG @ 500 gram/acre Metalaxyl 4% + Mancozeb 64% WP @ 600 gram/acre
Use Pseudomonas fluorescens @ 250 gram/acre as a biological treatment
To protect against insects : – Spray of Fipronil 40% + Imidacloprid 40% WG @ 40 gram/acre or Thiamethoxam 12.6% + Lambda Cyhalothrin 9.5% ZC @ 80 ml/acre
Use Beauveria Bassiana @ 250 gram/acre as a biological treatment.
Nutrition Management: – In this stage of onion nutrition management is done as soil treatment, for this use calcium nitrate @ 10 kg/acre + potash @ 20 kg/acre.
While spraying onion crops, one thing should be kept in mind that for every product to be absorbed or used by the leaves well, use 5 ml / pump sticker per pump at every spray time.
