The low-pressure area is now over Gangetic West Bengal and Bangladesh. Due to its effect, there has been heavy rain in Bangladesh. There may also be heavy rain in the northeastern states. Rain activities will reduce in Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. The first western disturbance of this season is about to reach the mountains. There may be rain and light snowfall in the mountains on October 9 and 10. Light rain may also occur in Punjab, Haryana and northwestern Uttar Pradesh.
