Seed treatment

  • Before sowing the Wheat, treat the seed with Sprint (Carbendazim 25%+ Mancozeb 50% WS) @ 3 gm/kg seed wise. This can save the crop from root rot, collar rot.

  • Thereafter, do seed treatment with Thianova Super (Thiamethoxam 30% FS) @ 3.3 ml/kg. This protects the seeds and plants from sucking, chewing and soil pests.

Nutrient Management

Urea 20 kg + DAP @ 50 kg + MOP 25 kg + Wheat New Samriddhi KitTB3 (Nitrogen Fixing, Phosphate solubilizing and Potassium mobilizing biofertilizer consortia) @ 3 kg + Tri-Coat Maxx  ( A mixture of Organic Carbon 3%, Humic, Fulvic, Organic Nutrients) @ 4 kg + Taba G (Zinc Solubilizing bacteria) @ 4 kg,Mix it together and broadcast in the field evenly on the per acre basis.

Irrigation

Wheat crop requires at least 5 irrigations depending on soil type and rainfall. Give first irrigation immediately after sowing, and after that irrigate after 21-25 days of sowing, 40-45 days after sowing, at flowering stage: 60-65 days, last at grain filling stage: 80-85 days after sowing.

Insect control

To control Termite, apply Fax (Fipronil 00.30% gr) @ 8 kg per acre.and do light irrigation.
