There is a possibility of dense fog in many states of North India for the next two days. A new Western Disturbance will reach the mountains from the 29th, affecting the mountains till the 2nd or 3rd of January. Due to the area of cyclonic winds formed due to its effect, there is a possibility of rain in many parts of Rajasthan including Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra. At present, the temperature in most of the country’s states will not fall much but there is a possibility of severe cold in the first week of January.
