What is the process of getting subsidy on onion cultivation in Madhya Pradesh?

The Madhya Pradesh government has taken a big step to increase onion production this Kharif season. The government is going to give a huge subsidy to selected farmers of 25 onion cultivation districts.

These 25 districts of Madhya Pradesh are Raisen, Rajgarh, Hoshangabad, Harda, Betul, Gwalior, Guna, Datia, Ashoknagar, Alirajpur, Khargone, Barwani, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Ujjain, Shajapur, Mandsaur, Agar-Malwa, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Dindori , Singrauli, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Damoh and online applications have been sought from the farmers of these districts. The government has fixed the cost of 50 thousand under this scheme and the beneficiary farmer will get a grant of 20 thousand per unit.

Farmers having a maximum 2 hectare land can take advantage of this scheme. Aadhar card, bank account number, mobile number, copy of Khasra number / B-1, caste certificate will have to be kept with you while applying for this.
