The use of modern agricultural machines is increasing in agriculture. Because of this, now the works like ploughing the field, sowing seeds, harvesting and threshing the crop have become very easy. However, many farmers are unable to buy these machines due to financial constraints, due to which they are still using the same old technology. In such a situation, the central and state governments are running many schemes to solve this problem for the farmers. In today’s article, let us know in turn, in which state, how much subsidy the government is giving on the purchase of agricultural machinery.

Madhya Pradesh: Macro-management scheme is being run in Madhya Pradesh and with its help subsidy is given on small tractors. This scheme is being run with the cooperation of both the state and central government.

Tamil Nadu: Various machines such as power tillers, paddy trans-planters, rotavators, seed drills, zero-till seed fertilizer drills, power sprayers and tractor-operated machines such as straw balers, power weeders and brush cutters, etc. under the agricultural mechanization program in Tamil Nadu subsidy is being given. In this, a 40% subsidy is given to the general farmers, while a 50% subsidy is given to SC/ST farmers.

Telangana: Under the Yantra Lakshmi scheme in Telangana, farmers can buy tractors at a subsidy of 50%. On the other hand, through the Agricultural Mechanization Scheme, SC/ST farmers get a 100% subsidy on agricultural machinery.

Maharashtra: A farm mechanization scheme is being run in Maharashtra, in which small, marginal and SC/ST farmers get a 35% subsidy on tractors and a 50% subsidy on other machines. In this, general category farmers get a 25% subsidy on tractors and a 40% subsidy on other machines.

Uttar Pradesh: In Uttar Pradesh, a subsidy of 25% or up to Rs 45,000 is given on tractors under Krishi Yantra Yojana. For this, tractor loans are given with the help of Prathama Bank Mahindra, Swaraj and Sonalika.

Rajasthan and Haryana: Farmers can take advantage of the Farm Mechanization Scheme in Rajasthan and Haryana. For this, the loan is given through Sarva Haryana Bank in Haryana and through AU Bank in Rajasthan.

Gujarat: In Gujarat, more than 25% subsidy is provided to general category farmers and 35% subsidy to special category farmers on purchase of tractors.
