The depression has now weakened and turned into a deep low pressure, but its effect will be seen in the form of heavy rains in Gujarat and Rajasthan including many districts of Maharashtra today. Landslides and mud slides are also likely in Uttarakhand today along with heavy rains. Rains may start in Delhi and Haryana today. Light to moderate rains are also likely in some parts of Uttar Pradesh. Many districts of Madhya Pradesh, especially the western districts, will see good rains today. Monsoon will still appear somewhat weak in South India. Rain will be very less in Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha including West Bengal.
