Rain to Bring Relief from Heat in North India, Snowfall Continues in the Mountains

Snowfall has resumed in the mountainous regions, and rain activities are expected to persist until this evening. Light rain is also likely in parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and western Uttar Pradesh. Currently, the maximum and minimum temperatures in North India remain above normal, causing a noticeable rise in warmth.

Starting January 24, temperatures will begin to drop, and by January 26, winter will make a return. The minimum temperature in Delhi and nearby areas is expected to dip to around 7°C. Meanwhile, South India will mostly experience dry weather, though very light rain is possible in Tamil Nadu.
