Farmers are getting a 50% subsidy from this special scheme

The biggest requirement for farming is advanced seeds and the farmer is often worried about the purchase of advanced seeds. In today’s time, fake seeds are also available in the market, due to which the farmers have to face losses many times. To overcome this problem of the farmers, the Government of India is running the “Seed Gram Yojana”.

The Beej Gram Yojana was started in the year 2014-15. Through this scheme, the government is eliminating the black marketing of seeds among the farmers and providing high-quality seeds. The main objective of the scheme is to stop spurious and useless seeds in the market. Through this scheme, farmer brothers get training on new techniques from agricultural experts, as well a 50% subsidy is given to economically weak farmers and 25% to general farmers.
