The government will give a grant of Rs 9000 per acre to these farmers to compensate for crop damage

Monsoon rains have been unusual in many parts of the country this year. Due to this, the Kharif crops have suffered a lot. Due to the lack of rain in many areas, the crops were completely ruined. In such a situation, on behalf of the Chhattisgarh government, it has been decided to give compensation to the farmers at the rate of Rs 9000 per acre for the crops affected by drought.

In this regard, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that “Drought situation has arisen in many areas of the state due to scanty rain and drought. The Government of Chhattisgarh stands with the farmers in every hour of calamity. The farmers who have just started the Kharif season. The farmers who have sown paddy, kodo-kutki, tur in the Kharif season now, if their crop gets spoiled due to lack of rain. Whether there is production or not, the government will give them the assistance of Rs.9000 per acre.
