Many states of the country are having a pre-monsoon year. On May 5, there is a possibility of rain in the eastern districts of Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab and the lowland areas of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. There is an outbreak of Kaal Baisakhi in eastern India, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal, and also in Odisha and northeastern states, due to which heavy rains may occur.
