Under the National Livestock Mission (NLM) scheme launched by the central government, you can start a goat farming project with an investment of ₹20 lakh and receive up to ₹10 lakh as a subsidy—covering 50% of the total cost!
Through this scheme, farmers can start projects with 100 to 500 goats. To apply, you need to submit a project report, land documents, Aadhaar card, bank details, and other necessary documents. The application process is completely online and can be done through the official NLM portal.
