Now road will be made from straw, farmers will get extra income

Both the farmer and the government are worried about the problem of stubble. Every year, farmers of paddy-producing states are accused of burning stubble which increases the level of pollution. The government is making different efforts to solve these problems. One of these efforts is the development of the technology of road construction from stubble by the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.

Yes, you have read it right, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Mr Nitin Gadkari have said that “a new technology is being developed, it will be ready in the next two-three months. The straw will be used to make bio-bitumen and it will be used in road construction.

Let us tell you that if everything goes right and this technique is successful in its proposed plan, then the farmers will be able to earn from the straw and they will not have to burn the straw. Due to this, the farmers will also get the benefit of additional income.
