The Haryana government is encouraging the farmers of its state to take land and do farming in African countries. The government is also considering making a plan for this. If this happens then Indian farmers will be able to do farming in African countries also.
It is noteworthy that due to the increasing number of families in Haryana, land holdings are decreasing. To deal with this problem, the government is now making farmers aware to go to African countries to buy land and then do farming. Talks are also going on with African countries on this issue so that agricultural land can be made available to Indian farmers. It will be interesting to see how the government implements this scheme.
