- Bloat is a common problem in ruminants.
- Bloating occurs when the gas produced in the stomach of the animal, which usually passes through their mouth, gets stuck due to indigestion.
- This causes the animal to have difficulty in breathing.
- The animal stops ruminating.
- The belly of the animal swells on the left side.
- The animal stops eating and drinking water and starts lying on the ground and banging its feet.
- This disease can be prevented by giving the animal 400 to 500 ml mustard oil along with 30-60 ml turpentine oil.
