  • Chilli crop is heavily damaged by wilt disease. Wilt disease is caused by Fusarium fungus, hence it is also known as Fusarium wilt. It is a fungal disease. These fungi live in the soil for a longer period. Climate change is also the main reason for this disease.

  • Symptoms of wilt infection can be seen on all parts of infected plants. In this disease the leaves bend down and turn yellow and dry up. The whole plant dried and died. 

  • Spray Kasugamycin 5% + Copper Oxychloride 45% WP @ 300 gram/acre or Kasugamycin 3% SL @ 400 ml/acre or  Thiophanate Methyl @ 70% W/W @ 300 g/acre OR  Chlorothalonil @ 75% WP @ 400 g/acre 

  • As a biological treatment, use Pseudomonas fluorescens @ 250 gram/acre as spray.
