Irrigation is very important for getting high yields in agriculture. However, many times the transformer gets burnt or gets damaged due to excessive load, in such a situation, due to the lack of arrangement of the transformer at the right time, the power supply is not possible. Due to this farmers find it very difficult to rinse. To solve this problem of farmers, the Electricity Distribution Company of Madhya Pradesh has taken an unusual step.
In the coming Rabi season, the state government has prepared to replace the transformer in just 2 hours so that the farmers do not face power shortages during irrigation. Under this initiative, electricity will be distributed to more than 13 lakh state farmers for irrigation in the Rabi season. Under this, a stock of 12 thousand transformers has been kept for the irrigation systems in 15 districts including Malwa and Nimar of the state, so that transformers are issued within 2 hours and irrigation work is not interrupted.
