Symptoms of rust disease in wheat
  • In wheat crop rust disease is also known as ‘Gerua’  
  • This disease has three types: yellow rust, black rust, brown rust.
  • In this disease yellow, black, and brown colored powder gets deposited on the leaves.
  • As the temperature drops, the infestation of this disease increases.
  • The accumulation of powder on the leaves deprives the leaves their ability to  make food.
  • Due to which the leaves start drying greatly affecting the production.
  • For prevention of this disease use Hexaconazole 5% SC@  @ 400 ml/acre  or Propiconazole  25% EC @ 200 ml/acre or Tebuconazole 25.9% EC @ 200 ml/acre 
  • As a biological treatment use Trichoderma Viride @  500 gram/acre or Pseudomonas Fluorescens @ 250gram/acre.
