Shaadi Shagun Yojana

The central government is running many schemes to make the life of the daughters of the country bright. Many beneficial schemes like Ladli Yojana, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, and Sukanya Yojana are included. One of these is the ‘Shaadi Shagun Yojana’. With the help of this, on the marriage of daughters, an amount of 51 thousand rupees is given to them as Shagun.

This scheme is especially for the minority daughters of the country. The benefit of this scheme is being given to those Muslim daughters who have received the Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship at the school level and have completed their graduation before marriage. Such Muslim daughters are being given an omen of 51 thousand rupees by the central government on their marriage.

The purpose of this Shagun scheme of the central government is to promote higher education for the daughters of the Muslim community of the country. This scheme was started on 8th August 2017, with the help of which lakhs of minority daughters have benefited so far.
