Can earn money from cow dung, special scheme implemented for cattle farmers

The Rajasthan government has started ‘Devnarayan Pashupalak Yojana’ to promote animal husbandry in the state. Under this unique scheme 501 houses have been allotted. About Rs 300 crore has been spent for this scheme, in which arrangements have been made for the accommodation of 15,000 cattle.

What is special for livestock farmers?

The special feature of this scheme is that the animal owners living here will be able to sell cow dung apart from milk. For this, cattle farmers will be paid Re 1 per kg of cow dung. Along with this, special provisions have also been made here for dairy business. In this, arrangements have been made for Milk Processing Unit, Biogas Plant, Veterinary Medicine and Animal Fair Ground, so that the cattle farmers do not face any kind of problem.

Along with this, all necessary arrangements have been made here for the social, educational and economic development of cattle farmers and their families. Under this, English medium school, hospital, milk market, hot market, bus for traffic, society office and police post have been constructed.

Farmers will get free advanced and certified seeds of Kharif crop

Central and state governments are running many schemes to benefit the farmers. In order to increase production and productivity in agriculture, farmers are given improved and certified seeds on subsidy. Meanwhile, the Rajasthan government has decided to provide free seeds of Kharif crops to the state farmers.

Under the Seed Production and Distribution Mission, the state government will distribute free seed mini kits to about 25 lakh small and marginal farmers of the state. Through this, improved seeds of soybean, maize, millet, moong, and urad will be provided to the farmers.

Let us inform you that in order to promote pulse crops, the state government has announced to provide seeds of moong, urad and moth to about 3 lakh farmers. Along with this, certified soybean seeds will be made available to the farmers for improved cultivation of soybean.

Let us inform you that at present, the seed Minikit distribution work has been started by the state government.
