Farmers are getting a grant of 9 thousand rupees for the cultivation of pulses

The Government of Chhattisgarh is making several efforts to promote the production of pulses. In this episode, grants are being given to the farmers growing pulses crops as incentives. Where instead of paddy, nine thousand rupees are being given per acre for the production of pulses.

Not only this, but in this series of efforts, instead of the support price of Rs 6,600, the government is buying urad and tur at the rate of Rs 8000 per quintal, so that farmers producing pulses can get maximum benefits.

According to the data, due to the efforts of the Chhattisgarh government, there has been an increase in the production of pulses in the state in the last two years. Presently, pulses crops are being cultivated in 11 lakh hectare of area in the state. The state government estimates that pulses will be cultivated in 15 lakh hectares in the next two years.
