Pavement shopkeepers are getting loans on huge subsidies

To reduce the rising unemployment in urban areas, the central government is running ‘Svanidhi Yojana’. The objective of this scheme is to provide financial help to the people who are setting up shops on the footpaths of the cities. Through this people can get loans for their shops at very low-interest rates.

The residents of Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh are taking advantage of this scheme. For those whose loan applications were rejected by banks last year, the district administration will re-examine those applications. After this, the beneficiaries selected on the basis of merit will be given loans on subsidy.

Let us inform you that through this scheme, a loan of up to 10 thousand rupees is being given to the footpath shopkeepers. The shopkeeper has to pay only 2% interest on this loan, the rest 7% interest is paid by the government. So far 4377 people have benefited from this scheme in the district. You can also get a loan from this scheme through an online application.
