Set up a nursery at half the cost, the government will bear half the cost

National Horticulture Mission

With the aim of making farmers economically strong, governments run many types of beneficial schemes. One of these schemes is the National Horticulture Mission, through which the government not only helps the farmers but also promotes the cultivation of horticultural crops. Let us tell you that through this scheme, farmers of Rajasthan are being given a subsidy of 50% on setting up a nursery of horticultural crops. This means that half the cost of the nursery set up by the farmer will be borne by the Rajasthan government.

Under this scheme, farmers can plant fruit and multi-fruit plants. To avail this benefit, the farmer has to clearly enter the name of the fruit and its varieties. To set up a small nursery in the field through this scheme, the farmer has to apply online to the District Horticulture Department with land ownership documents, financial analysis, details of facilities and other important documents.
