There is a possibility of rain in almost all the districts of Madhya Pradesh. Intermittent torrential rains continue in Mumbai and normal life is disrupted. Monsoon has become active in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan including Delhi, now there is a possibility of heavy rain at many places. There is a possibility of heavy rains in many districts of Karnataka, while torrential rains will continue in the northeastern states.

Now the line of monsoon will start moving towards North India. On July 17, the rain will start in the Terai districts of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. From July 18, heavy rain likely over West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh from Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan Delhi, Punjab and Haryana as well as Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.

For the next two days, most states of Central India may receive heavy rains. These states include Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, South Chhattisgarh Telangana etc. Monsoon will remain active over the west coast of the country. From July 17, the monsoon will move towards the Gangetic plains and rains will increase further over West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

Monsoon rains are now likely to occur in almost all the districts of Madhya Pradesh. Rain activities are going to increase in most of the departments of Uttar Pradesh. It will start raining in Punjab and Haryana including Delhi from July 9 an increase in rain activities is possible from July 10. There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in the foothills of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Rain may also start in East Rajasthan on July 10 and 11.

Monsoon will become fully active in Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Marathwada from next tomorrow and heavy rains are possible at many places. There will be an increase in rain activities over the western districts of Madhya Pradesh from July 10. Rains may increase in northern districts of Maharashtra including Mumbai from July 9. Rain will start in Rajasthan from 10th July and by 14th July it will start raining all over Rajasthan. Rain in Gujarat may start from 12th or 13th July.

After 2 days rain activities may start over North India. Good rain activities will continue over East India. Torrential rains are also expected in Central India. The rain activities are likely to increase over the eastern and southern regions of Madhya Pradesh. Due to the cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan, the moisture-laden winds from the Arabian Sea will increase the humidity. The low pressure line will move southwards from the foothills of the Himalayas, due to which moist air from the Bay of Bengal will also increase the moisture in the Gangetic plains. Heavy rains in East India and Central India, Monsoon will also gain momentum in South India. Light rain and thundershowers are possible over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh.
