A Cyclonic Circulation may form over the Bay of Bengal but it is not likely to become a depression or a storm due to low sea surface temperature. There is a possibility of rain in the northeastern states including Tamil Nadu Kerala Karnataka. Scattered rain is possible over Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The Anti Cyclonic Circulation is once again reaching over Southwest Rajasthan, due to which the winds will pass through Balochistan and Thar Desert of Rajasthan and will increase heat in Telangana including Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra. Rain may occur in many districts of Kerala and Karnataka including interior districts of Tamil Nadu. Rain is also expected in the northeastern states.

Temperatures will remain above normal in half of India including Delhi. Rain activities will increase over entire northeastern states including Assam Meghalaya Arunachal Pradesh. During the last two days, the temperature has dropped significantly over Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Mumbai. This relief may continue for the next 3 days. Pre Monsoon rains will continue over Interior Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and North Eastern states. Light rain and light snow are possible in the mountains.

The storm has now moved north of Andaman and Nicobar. This can be seen as a deep depression. It will make landfall in the form of depression over northern Myanmar around the afternoon of March 22. Not much damage is expected. Due to the change in the direction of the winds, a slight drop in temperature has been recorded in some parts of Gujarat including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. Light rain and thundershowers are possible over most states of South India.

The cyclonic storm forming over the Bay of Bengal can give heavily to very heavy rains over the Andaman and Nicobar Deep Group during the next 2 days. It will move towards North Myanmar and make landfall on March 22. Severe heatwave conditions will continue over many parts of Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Temperatures will remain above normal in North India including Delhi.

On March 19, 20 and 21, strong winds with heavy rain may occur over Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Rain and snow are possible once again in the mountains. Central and North India may get some relief from the heatwave.
