9 crore farmers to get 18 thousand crore rupees on Atal Jayanti

Every year on 25 December, the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is celebrated. This year, this day is bringing special gifts for the farmers. This time, 18 thousand crore rupees will be sent to the bank account of 9 crore farmers across the country.

These funds are being sent to the farmers under the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. If we talk about the farmers of Madhya Pradesh, then the amount of this scheme has to be sent to the account of about 78 lakh farmers of the state.

Farmers will get the first instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in 1st week of April

This good news is related to the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The date of giving the first instalment to the farmers covered under this scheme has been announced.

According to media reports, the payment of the first instalment under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be started from April 1. It should be noted that under this scheme, the government gives Rs. 6000 to farmers in three equal instalments throughout the year. This ambitious scheme was started last year by the Government of India to provide financial assistance to the farmers.

  • Farmers can get a loan up to Rs 3 lakh at just 4% interest rate.

  • Eligible farmers can take benefit of Pradhan Mantri Suraksha BimaYojana (PMSBY) & Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Beema Yojana (PMJJBY).  

  • These two schemes offer both accidental insurance and life insurance at a premium of Rs.12 and Rs.330 respectively, for an insured value of Rupees two lakh in each case.
