Pinching in muskmelon

Pinches are made to prevent overgrowth of muskmelon from the plant.
When there is enough fruit on the oxen of muskmelon, then there should be a solution to pinch, which can prevent the bull from failing.
Pinching and cutting of unwanted wounds result in good nutrition for the fruit and the development of the fruits is good.

When there is enough fruit on the oxen of watermelon, then there should be a solution to pinch, which can prevent the bull from failing.
Pinching and cutting of unwanted wounds results in good nutrition for the fruit and the development of the fruits is good.
If there is more fruit on a vine, then remove the small and weak fruits so that the main fruit gets better.
By removing unnecessary branches, watermelon gets complete nutrition and it grow very fast.

Snake gourd grows very fast and vines elongate rapidly within two weeks after planting.
Staking and trellising will increase fruit yield, size, reduce fruit rot and make spraying and harvesting easier.
The trellis should be 1.2-1.8 meter high constructed from stacks 1.2 -1.8 meter apart.

Intercultural Practices in Cucumber:-

The cucumber plant is a shallow rooted crop and no deep intercultural operations are required.
Earthing up is essential to cover the roots properly especially in rainy season crop.
Prune all secondary shoots up to 5 nodes, to improve yield & fruit quality.
Staking of plant in rainy season is helpful in checking the rotting of fruits.
